Profile

Dr Aby Koshy did his MBBS from Medical College, Kottayam. He did his post graduate training from Armed Forces Medical College, Pune, where he stood first in the University. He passed the membership examination (MRCOG) of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, United Kingdom in his first attempt. He became a fellow of the college (FRCOG) in 2021.

He did his advanced training in Reproductive Medicine at London. He has worked as an infertility specialist in various hospitals in India and the United Kingdom.

He has published 13 papers in national and international journals, he has authored 6 chapters in different books and his research papers have been cited by 345 scientific publications. He is also an invited peer reviewer to 9 international and national journals. He is a member of the National Advisory Board of the 'Journal of Human Reproductive Sciences'

Prior to joining Sunrise Hospital, he was working in a busy tertiary IVF centre at Homerton University Hospital, London, where the annual IVF workload exceeds 1200 cycles.

POST GRADUATE DISSERTATION

Genital tuberculosis in infertile women: study of aetiopathogenesis, clinical features and treatment modalities. This study involved the use of polymerase chain reaction techniques and laparoscopic evaluation to diagnose tuberculosis in women presenting with infertility in a tertiary care hospital.
